All of these questions are answered here.  Below is the actual process from start to finish to help you know what comes next in the process of commisioning your own unique artwork.

Creating a painting or drawing from a photograph

If you want a photo converting into a painting, the more photographs you have the better. It is important they are in focus and clear. 

A small paragraph about the person, pet, landscape, object to give me a better insight giving your painting personality of the subject.  Once I am satisfied I have good images, a price and timescale will be agreed, I can change backgrounds etc to suit your decor.

Custom Made painting or drawing If it is something specific you had in mind, I will need a outline of the image, as well as colours, mood and where it will be placed.

This is a more indepth process with draft drawings until you have the image you want, once you are happy then a price will be agreed (This process does not incur additional costs)

Filling in the Order form   Before you fill in the order form please read  Technical Info / Medium,  this page will give you all the information you need to take into consideration in commissioning your artwork - type of canvas, size etc.  Once you have an idea of what you want proceed to the order form, please fill in all entries.

Receive Order Confirmation.  You will be sent an order confirmation.  This will confirm the size and medium you have ordered for your artwork, any special considerations, the deadline and the deposit to be paid.  Once you confirm your order, you will need to pay a deposit.

Deposit   Once the commission and price is agreed, a 40% (percentage)  non refundable deposit is required and is taken upfront to cover initial costs - materials, canvas and time.  Payable by PayPal only- protecting your financial security.via the Webstore

Process  On average commissions can take up to 2-3 months for oil paintings and 3 weeks for other mediums to complete, however this is dependent on current workload and canvas drying times and media used.  You will receive updates of each stage of the commissioned piece in the event you want to change anything during the process.

Final Payment  Once the commissioned artwork has been completed and you are satisfied with the result, the final payment of the commission will need to be paid *.  On receipt of the remainder (percentage) %, a delivery time will then be confirmed, along with a courier tracking number, the courier will need you to sign for your artwork

* Alternative payment agreement   Should you have difficulties in paying for a commissioned piece, I can not waiver the deposit but there is the facility to pay the remainder (percentage) % in installments, please let me know if you would like this option when filling in the order form.
