I know I have not been updating my blog lately and i deeply apologise - I have been really busy with my college course as well as some commission paintings I need to finish.


I have updated my page of college artwork of all my anatomical drawings from skeleton to muscular and then to skin and form, trying to get the details right. let me know what you think!!

Hi all


Sorry for the break in blogs but been really busy with my new art course.  Its back to basics. I will be entering some of the drawings I have completed on my course so youi can see my progress and see if you like them or not.  


But one thing which is really good is learning to use acrylic paint which I have never used before.  Not sure on the washy way the paint appears on the paper or the way you can ...

Hello everyone


Been a busy week! My son has come back from his Pops so I lost my Studio (his room)...sad


Still working on my Cousins Girls (Current Projects) finally got the face right on the older lassie but not posted it yet so apologies will be posting very soon. 


I am now an Art Student .big grin..I have decided to go back to college to go back to basics and learn a  new way of doing things, so dont be suprised to find new painting...

Gosh its another week that has flown by.  Had to wait until the canvas was really dry for me to continue with the portrait of the girls, I will start again tonight. UPDATE view the current projects page to view the next stage.


Did my first video of an introduction of me painting and what I use and how I use it will be doing another one which should show the progress of the portrait.

I have started a new project of my cousins daughters - portrait of them from a photograph.  Should be able to give viewers / potential customers an idea of what I am capable of.  Actually it started off really well then I smudged it and i have to re-start it but then thats the way it goes sometimes.


Got a confirmation letter of an interview for my son to go to College, so hes back in a couple of weeks so I lose my 'Studio' (his bedroom) and oh I am so going to miss...

Well I am really sorry but had a few days off and just enjoyed the peace, currently going to physio to sort my knee out so hoping it will not go again.


 

 

Finished my Landscape of Fernworthy Forest the photographer is thrilled withit.  I have now started on a portrait of my cousins daughters, which isturning out right, I was a bit dubious but need to try it and see if Ican do it, if it turns out right then i can progress to doing moreportraits whi...

Well Things have been busy these last couple of weeks, my son has gone to his fathers for 6 weeks all summer so its is going to be quiet, I have taken overhis bedroom for painting...its great.  Painting nearly every night, ihave nearly finished the Landscape just to do leaves on one side of theand a few other touches and it will be done....

 

Bought 8 canvases of various sizes so plenty of painting to do and plenty oftime to do it.........out of them i have two slim long...

Well I finished them...the flowers are finished are done!!!! which are viewable on Current projects page, in the completed section...hooray

 

I have also started a new painting of a landscape again viewable on the Currents Projects page, getting the perspective right is a bit of a bummer but got there, waiting for it to dry then will be able to continue on and put some lights, tones and colours in it.

 

Laughing my head off at the moment as our dog Einstein ...

Well I did write on Sunday but there was a glitch with the site and wasn't saved so here for another update.  Finished 1 of my oil paintings of a rose and halfway through the 2nd rose, still waiting for the tulip to get tackybefore I can carry on with it.  I also did 3 ink drawings of flowers tocomplement the set, all viewable on Current Projects.

 

My son has finished his last exams for the year..hooray...looks like they went well so fingers crossed f...
